IT Consultant for Small Business - About Us
Ten9 IT Services exists to support small businesses (SMB) with all of their technology requirements. Incorporated in 2009, the roots of Ten9 IT Services go back to 2004 when owner and founder, Ryan Herndon, started managing websites in his spare time. Over time and as the need arose, we grew from a web design firm into a full-fledged IT services company. Our main passion is writing code and complex database applications, but we love managing computers and helping users in day-to-day operations get the most out of their technology.
We’ve been providing these services since 2004 and continue to grow our services, always looking for the best options, value, and security for our clients.
What is an IT Consultant?
The role of an IT consultant is that of a creative problem solver; a technical advisor who focuses on integrating information technology (IT) into a business, showing them how to use IT efficiently to achieve their business objectives. As an IT Consultant, we make it our goal to understand a business’s needs so we can effectively diagnose problems, analyze a company’s IT system and infrastructure, and implement solutions to meet business needs.
Ten9 IT Services provides a wide array of IT consulting services for businesses which opt to outsource IT support.
Why Hire Us?
There are several reasons hiring an IT Consultant for your business needs could be the right move. Here are four of the biggest benefits if you need specialized help with your business.
1. IT Consultants bring a fresh set of eyes.
Technology can be a disrupting factor. Just because something has been done a certain way for years does not mean there isn’t a more efficient and effective way. Sometimes a fresh set of eyes can lend a new perspective based on experience, and that could help your organization increase growth and improve efficiency.
2. Saves you time and money.
The value of IT consultants goes above and beyond the cost reduction of their recommendations. If you don’t have enough work for a full-time IT employee, an IT consultant is a good fit because they are oftentimes hired for a specific job, which allows for more cost-effective and efficient use of time.
3. Expertise.
IT consultants are experts in their field. The experience from prior projects can help consultants identify what steps of your business processes can be eliminated for efficiency. This typically means fast implementation and quick results. In addition, IT consultants do not need to be trained at the beginning of the project.
4. Efficiency.
IT consultants are experts on new technologies; their jobs depend on helping companies find new ways to increase productivity. To best realize the benefits of these complex technologies, they need to be planned, implemented, and managed by someone with the knowledge to do it the right way.
